The Union County Chamber of Commerce and Union County Tourism Promotion Advisory Committee are issuing a Request for Proposals for the evaluation, creation, development and ongoing maintenance of a new website, serving both the needs of the Chamber and Tourism Bureau. The Chamber is interested in developing a new website that modernized, engages and increases tourism as well as promotes and supports the business and economic community.

“The Chamber is in the process of conducting serious marketing research in order to better target and serve both residents and future tourists,” said Suzannah Moore-Hemann, Executive Director of the Union County Chamber of Commerce. “The Chamber Board and the Union County Tourism Promotion Advisory Committee is very excited to undertake projects to support the mission of the Chamber to foster economic growth and community development, as well as employ a website that is truly a tool for our members.”

The Union County Chamber of Commerce maintains a contract with the City of La Grande, the Union County Board of Commissioners, supported by Transient Room Tax (TRT) dollars. This funding is specifically earmarked for tourism promotion. By developing a sleek, new website with core objectives including a website which will directly help support increasing tourism to La Grande and Union County as well as further fostering, supporting and encouraging new businesses and organizations to join or continue their Chamber membership and support.
